About Stefan Serrianni

Stefan Serrianni is a pastor, speaker, and disciple-maker with a passion for helping broken and overlooked people encounter the healing and restoring love of Christ. After coming to faith in 2006 following a life marked by gangs, dysfunction, and addiction culture, Stefan has spent nearly two decades serving in ministry through worship, leadership, counseling, church planting, and recovery outreach. He is the lead pastor of LifeCity Church in Portland, Oregon, where he focuses on discipleship, inner healing, and creating spaces where people can honestly heal, grow, and walk in their God-given purpose. Stefan and his wife Bethany have been married for 15 years and are raising four children together

Why Stefan writes

Stefan writes to equip the Church with practical tools, deeper understanding, and Christ-centered competency because he believes there are countless people, both inside and outside the Church, carrying wounds that often go unseen. Many believers are only one step away from becoming a source of healing, wisdom, and restoration in someone else's life. Stefan's passion is to help ordinary people grow in spiritual maturity, emotional honesty, and practical discipleship so they can faithfully reflect the heart of Jesus to a broken world

Stefan's Books

Coming to the Table                          by Stefan Serrianni

What if Jesus is more compassionate, honest, and life-giving than you've been led to believe? Coming to the Table is an invitation to encounter Christ beyond performance, shame, and religious masks. For the skeptic, the wounded believer, or the spiritually exhausted, this book opens the door to a Savior who still welcomes broken people to sit with Him.

Talking to the Wall                             by Stefan Serrianni

Have you ever prayed and wondered if anyone was listening? Talking to the Wall is for people navigating disappointment, silence, doubt, and the ache of unanswered prayers. Honest, pastoral, and deeply human, this book helps readers rediscover prayer not as performance, but as relationship.

Rebuilding Us                                     by Stefan Serrianni

Every marriage carries moments that test trust, communication, intimacy, and connection. Rebuilding Us offers practical and Christ-centered guidance for couples who want more than coexistence. Whether healing from pain or strengthening what already exists, this book points toward restoration, unity, and lasting partnership.

What is Stefan working on now?

Right now, Stefan has a few books currently with my editor that he is very excited about. One is a follow-up to Coming to the Table, focused on helping believers practically minister to hurting people with wisdom, compassion, emotional honesty, and Christ-centered presence. Another centers on walking with people through grief, exploring how lament, comfort, healing, and hope intersect in the middle of loss.

He is also actively writing and finishing a book on trauma and what it looks like to walk through trauma with God rather than simply trying to survive it alone. The book explores how trauma shapes the way people see themselves, others, safety, relationships, and even God, while offering practical and pastoral guidance for healing, discipleship, emotional processing, and spiritual restoration. Stefan's hope is to help people understand that healing is not pretending the pain never happened, but learning how to let God meet us honestly within it and gradually restore what trauma tried to distort, silence, or steal.

At the center of all of these projects is a desire to help the Church become more equipped, compassionate, and present for the wounded people God places in front of us every day
