About Christine Schulze

Christine has been creating books since she was four years old and publishing since she was eighteen. She writes mostly fantasy for young adults and teens, with a few children's books as well. There are a lot of fantasy books in the current market that include curse words and spicy intimate scenes, so one of my goals is to write fantasy that DOES not include these elements, books that are appropriate for all ages and for Christian readers who enjoy magical tales like Lord of the Rings or The Chronicles of Narnia. Some of my books are overtly Christian fantasy and the characters talk about God. In other books, the Christian themes are subtler but present: themes like forgiveness, redemption, good overcoming evil, love, self-sacrifice, friendship, overcoming grief and loss, and healthy relationships. Showing diversity is also something I've always been inspired by God to do; this includes writing some characters with disabilities, which is inspired by my day job where I work with adults who have autism and other developmental disabilities.

Why Christine writes

Christine has always been inspired to write, so she believes it is a God-given talent and gift to share with others. Just as reading so many stories of hope and friendship and good vs evil inspired her when she was growing up, she hopes to give encouragement to her readers through her books, while also providing fun and magical new worlds where they can travel to without having to worry about inappropriate language or scenes. She hopes her stories glorify God while also encouraging and inspiring others.
